ROXANNE GROBBEL JD, LCSW, RPT-S

Roxanne Grobbel, JD, LCSW, RPT-S is a licensed attorney in Florida and Michigan and practiced law before following her true calling of becoming a psychotherapist. She received her masters degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University and became a licensed clinical social worker. With over 19 years experience she has been a passionate advocate for the mental health and wellness of at-risk and traumatized individuals.  She has trained hundreds of mental health professionals from the United States and countries around the world.

Mariana Caro, LCSW

 

Mariana Caro is a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a wealth of experience in helping individuals, families, and children overcome the devastating effects of trauma. As an EMDR Trainer and Consultant, she has a deep understanding of trauma-focused therapy and has extensive training in Attachment-Focused EMDR and Ego State Interventions. Mariana has a unique talent for creating a safe and supportive environment where her clients can feel empowered and begin their journey to healing.

Throughout her career, Mariana has been involved in various aspects of crisis care, including clinical supervision, providing education and training in the community, and working with at-risk families. She has worked in both weekly and intensive therapy formats and has helped individuals of all ages overcome significant histories of trauma. 

Mariana brings a unique perspective to her work as a therapist, drawing from her experience working with children to provide holistic care to each adult she works with. She recognizes that childhood experiences can have a lasting impact on a person's well-being, and she is committed to helping her clients heal from the root cause of their symptoms, rather than just addressing surface issues. 

 

Mariana's approach to therapy is compassionate and client-centered. She takes the time to understand each person's individual experiences, fears, and concerns, and creates a safe space where they can explore their feelings and work towards their goals. She understands that healing is a process, and she is committed to supporting her clients every step of the way. Mariana's warm and empathetic demeanor, combined with her extensive knowledge and expertise, make her an outstanding choice for anyone seeking trauma-focused therapy or consultation for their EMDR practice.

She is a much sought after trainer for EMDR because her enthusiasm and experience allow her to make learning entertaining. She conducts workshops nationwide on Trauma, EMDR, Play Therapy, Infant Mental Health.  She developed an EMDRIA Approved EMDR Training Course, an EMDRIA approved EMDR and Children advanced course and a comprehensive 72-hour Play Therapy course - which includes modules on Trauma, Infant Mental Health, Brain Development and Play Therapy Techniques.  Roxanne has trained thousands of mental health professionals while conducting workshops at local, state, and national levels. As a State of Florida Qualified Supervisor she has supervised and trained masters level interns and LCSW registered interns.  She has been an instructor at FAU School of Social Work and Palm Beach State College and presented at numerous other universities and has received numerous awards throughout her carrear..​

She is a highly skilled EMDR therapist, and treats both adults and children who have a wide range of clinical issues through an innovative intensive program in her practice in Boca Raton, Florida and at 11th Hour Trauma Retreat in Denver, Colorado.  EMDR is a powerful therapeutic method that accelerates the treatment of a wide range of clinical issues.   People often need help to restore their level of well-being or ability to function successfully.  Roxanne does this by offering a safe nonjudgmental environment combining various types of therapies designed to meet the specific needs of the client. She also works as a consultant for therapists seeking to become certified in EMDR. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Colorado.

Tessa Groshoff, LMHC 

 

Tessa reflects a life of diverse journeys and a deep commitment to healing and supporting others. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore diverse cultures and perspectives during her world travels. A background in art, combined with these extensive experiences and education, has shaped her into a compassionate and resilient mental health therapist. Throughout her career, she has been a tireless advocate for trauma survivors, First Responders, and those dealing with CPTSD. Her reputation as a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and dedicated mental health therapist is well-established.

Tessa is actively involved in the field of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, holding the titles of EMDRIA consultant and EMDR Trainer. She is excited to be offering advanced EMDR courses. Tessa's commitment to using innovative therapeutic techniques, such as EMDR and Expressive Arts, underscores her passion for advancing the field and providing the best possible support to her clients. Her advocacy for vulnerable populations and her willingness to extend her services to multiple state locations highlight her unwavering dedication to promoting mental well-being.

Holly Fregin, LMHC: 

 

Holly Fregin is a highly qualified and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor and EMDR Consultant and Trainer, with an impressive educational and professional background. She has dedicated her career to providing effective and compassionate mental health care to individuals and families in need. Her areas of expertise include eating disorders, addiction, complex PTSD, first responders, sexual abuse survivors, mood disorders, developmental trauma, foster care, and adoption.

Currently, Holly works in private practice with a primary focus on providing EMDR therapy intensives for individuals seeking concentrated trauma healing and relief. 

She is very excited to be an Instructor for EMDR Trainings.  She has completed numerous advanced EMDR trainings and is passionate about integrating EMDR with attachment-focused work, somatic experiencing, and ego state psychotherapy, all of which have yielded significant improvements for her clients.

​

Throughout her career, Holly has been dedicated to community education, offering workshops and trainings  on topics such as trauma-informed care, eating disorder prevention and awareness, attachment-focused parenting, and sexual abuse prevention. Recently, she has started teaching the EMDR basic training to therapists interested in adding EMDR to their practice.

 

Holly is deeply passionate about helping individuals rediscover their true identity.  She approaches all current symptoms and difficulties through a lens of compassion and curiosity of how past experiences have shaped us. She believes that each client is a unique individual with specific needs and goals, and structures all therapy to meet each client where they are through a holistic approach. Holly  has personally and professionally experienced the transformative power of EMDR and is dedicated to spreading its healing benefits through therapy, training, and consultation.

Roxanne was deeply honored at the 2016 state Conference of the Florida Association for Play Therapy to be presented with the Viola Brody Award which recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of Play Therapy.
